About Desirae Beedle

I am Alaska Native, of Haida and Tsimshian descent. My Alaskan family is from Ketchikan and Metlakatla, but I grew up here in Seattle. I was disconnected from my culture, and I’m trying to learn and reclaim as much as I can now.

Additionally I am a mother of four, and a full time student. I’ll be starting at University of Washington this fall to earn my Bachelors degree in studio arts, and in American Indian Studies.
